New teachers are often unsure about their place in the grand mechanism of medical school. Some of you come to this role after participating in life changing educational experiences, others arrive at this point bored and frustrated, most of you are somewhere in between. I believe teachers help people learn. In a world before easy access to information online or in books, that meant being the transmitter of knowledge through lectures. Today, lectures are only one of a multitude of teaching techniques that you can use to help people learn. By participating in this course, you will begin to built your personal teaching tool kit.
